Eamon O’Brien
Eamon O’Brien is the co-founder of Kyaro Assistive Tech and a 2018 Jamii Tech alumni. He participated in the first iteration of the Jamii Tech Program in 2018 after completing his first year at Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering in Massachusetts.
During school, he worked as a product designer for LuminAID, a company that makes solar lanterns for camping and disaster relief purposes.
After graduating with a degree in engineering with a focus in robotics, Eamon spent two years working at the Ford Motor Company in the body shop manufacturing and design prototyping departments. After leaving Ford, he moved to Arusha to continue his work with Kyaro. He is now COO at Kyaro, and runs the design and communication departments.
